We may invite some families to participate in an optional hair collection activity. Collecting small hair samples is a way for us to understand more about your health and wellbeing. It is a quick and easy self-collection process that takes about 10 minutes for you to complete. This is an activity that we do often in our lab and we have done this with hundreds of Chinese families as well as infants and young children.

If you choose to take part in hair collection, you will receive a $25 gift card. Our staff will provide more information about this activity during the parent-teen virtual activity session.
